A few beginner rackets that I see recommended are the Nox ML10, the Head Evo Delta 22, and the Head Evo Sanyo. You don't want to waste a bunch of money on your first racket unless you know what type of player you'll be.
It's often recommended for beginners to start with a round racket (as opposed to teardrop/hybrid or diamond). Normally, the round rackets have a sweet spot in the middle and give more control, but you'll have less power than say a diamond racket. That's fine while you learn the game and figure out what is best for you personally. The "best" racket really depends on the person.
For racket weight, very generally speaking, if you have a small frame or are a kid, you'll want a range of 340-360 g, while if you are bigger, get one weighing 360-375 g. Those are the two ranges normally to choose.
The beginner rackets often have a softer material like fiberglass versus the harder ones made from fiberglass/carbon or just carbon itself. With the softer rackets, you'll get a wider sweet spot, so it's easier at first.
If you can find a store allowing demos or borrow rackets from other players, that'll help you figure out what racket may be best for you in the long run.
